Flight: OS803 (A320)
Route: Vienna (VIE)- Athens (ATH)
Time: 21:15- 00:30(+1)
Duration: 2h15min (796 miles)
Seat&Class: 2A (Business Class)

The business class passengers who will take a flight, operated by Star Alliance members and cooperation partner airlines mentioned in the photograph, have access to this lounge. If you are a priority member, you may use Hon Circle or Senator Lounge. There is also some lounges for non-business class passengers, let’s say economy class passengers who have the Priority Pass.

The flight to Athens (OS803) at last delayed for about one hour due to the late arrival of the previous plane. It seems that the flights at Vienna Airport around this late time are usually delayed (I checked the weekly flight status of OS803 the other day).

As is usual with European short-haul routes, the seat type for business class and economy class passengers are the same. The difference is that when you booked business class, you will be assigned the seat somewhere in the front (either window or aisle), whose next’s seat (centre) is blocked.

This system is really helpful, especially in the case of crowded flights, but I hope they introduce more comfortable short-haul business class seat… even though I understand this is more efficient for the airline business…

Overall Impression
Even though the lounge was clean and relatively empty, the lounge meal was poor. However, it was ok for me, as the quality of the inflight meal (Do& Co Catering) was really high, compared to other European Full Service Careers. The flight was good as a whole. By the way, Vienna airport is known as the most convenient airport for the transfer (Minimum Connecting Time is 25 minutes at the earliest), but you need to keep in mind that the flights departing from Vienna Airport may often be delayed.
